The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education that supports, celebrates, and rewards teaching excellence. ACBSP acknowledges the importance of scholarly research and inquiry and believes that such activities facilitate improved teaching. And further, ACBSP encourages faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.

Strayer University can provide information regarding financing options such as active duty military tuition assistance, veterans educational benefits, Federal grants and loans.

* Active-Duty Military Scholarship. Under our scholarship program, active duty military students will be responsible for $0 per class for all undergraduate courses and $375 per class for all graduate courses.

Effective Winter Term 2012, if a service member on active duty has a change in military status, the military scholarship will continue to be offered until the student’s current degree program is completed and the degree has been earned. Eligible service members may continue to receive the military scholarship through completion of additional advanced degree programs, following completion of their current program. Service members must supply the LES at the time of registration for the scholarship to be posted initially; it will only need to be provided for the first applicable term of enrollment.

Effective Winter Term 2012, spouses of military service members serving on active duty are eligible for the same scholarship as the military service member, regardless of whether or not the military service member is a student at Strayer University.

Spouses must supply the service member’s LES at the time of registration for the scholarship to be posted; it will only need to be provided for the first term of enrollment.

* Veterans Educational Benefits. Most of the programs offered by Strayer University are approved for the enrollment of persons eligible to receive VA educational benefits through Chapter 33 of the Post 9/11 GI Bill and/or other benefit programs offered by the VA. Furthermore, Strayer University offers a Yellow Ribbon Scholarship to all eligible veterans to cover any expenses not included under the Post 9/11 GI Bill.  Our certifying officials can help you understand the benefits that are available to you and assist you with submitting your application packages.

* Federal Grants and Loans. Federal financial aid is available to those who qualify. Federal grants do not have to be repaid and Federal loans are available that offer funds at a reduced interest rate or with deferred payment.

* Private Loans. Low cost, private loans are available to undergraduate and graduate students. These loans can also fill the financial gap not covered by federal student aid programs.

The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Accounting, Associate of Arts with a concentration in Foundations of Business, Bachelor of Science in Business, Master of Business Administration, Master of Management, Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Management programs are programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (acbsp.org).

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs at University of Phoenix are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccneaccreditation).

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Arizona) and the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling (Utah) programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP; cacrep.org).
